Garrett has been steeped in Passive House design and construction over the last 15 years and has been the Passive House Designer to 150+ certified Passive House homes and commercial properties.

In 2022 he was instrumental in bringing regulatory change to the Northern Ireland Building regulations and continues to advocate for better fabric first design for all aspects of indoor human comfort.

Spurred on by climate change and the cost of living for society’s most vulnerable, he has scaled his input to industry by diversifying into the design and sale of Nilan combined MHVR & heat pump technology.
