Dr Hector Altamirano-Medina
Dr Hector Altamirano-Medina is an Associate Professor in Environmental Design and Engineering at the Bartlett School of Environment Energy and Resources, Institute for Environmental Design and Engineering, Faculty of the Built Environment.
David Bly
As Managing Director of Cornerstone Management Services, David has spearheaded a service that strives to help people understand the health of their homes in greater detail, from living within them to managing their condition, providing guidance, recognisable improvements and solutions for the long term to improve their quality of life.
Matthew Scott
Matthew Scott is a policy manager at the Chartered Institute of Housing, leading the organisation’s work on the domestic transition to net zero in social housing and climate resilience. He holds a PhD from Newcastle University and has previously held several research and policy roles in the academic and third sectors.
Dr Eve Blezard
Eve Blezard is a policy lead at the Chartered Institute of Housing overseeing CIH’s work on asset management and building safety. She holds a PhD in the Built Environment from The University of Salford and has previously held roles at Housing Quality Network and Progress Housing Group.
David Bleicher
David Bleicher has a background in building services design and has worked at BSRIA since 2005. He has worked on a variety of research and consultancy projects at BSRIA and developed training courses including the Level 1 airtightness testing course.
James Norton
James has worked in the social housing sector for the past 15 years, both directly for housing associations and for contractors. As the sector continues to evolve, James is always keen to look at ways to progress service delivery to ensure that Greatwell Homes developments are suitable for its customers.
Cornerstone
Cornerstone offer significant experience in structural and atmospheric moisture mechanics. A demonstrable 5000 plus independent expert surveys for reported damp, condensation and mould demonstrated 91% of all properties surveyed were dry and hence were experiencing atmospheric management related issues.
